Alexandria Soria, Co-Owner
Alexandria received her bachelors in Dance Performance with a minor in Business at Madonna University. She has choreographed and taught in the metro Detroit area for over 8 years with 6 of those being in Lake Orion. Alexandria has choreographed both concert and competition work in High Schools, Universities and dance studios. Her choreography has won many awards including the Jordeen Ivanov-Ericson Choreography Award, highest scoring petite group and highest scoring of division two with contemporary. Alexandria was also a member of Next Level Dance Company which made it to finals in World of Dance. Alexandria teaches many dance genres but specializes in ballet, modern, hip hop, contemporary and jazz.
Lindsay Marion, Co-Owner
Lindsay received a bachelors in Elementary Education and a minor in Dance at Oakland University. She has been an Elementary teacher for 6 years and a dance teacher/coach in Lake Orion for over 15 years. Lindsay first became Lake Orion’s Varsity dance coach and created their Junior Varsity program while managing and choreographing for her teams. Lindsay has danced at both a college and professional level becoming a member of the Detroit Piston’s Dance Team where she managed game operations, choreographed, and was captain of her team. Lindsay has danced in halftime shows and music videos with numerous artists including Miley Cyrus, T-pain, The Temptations, MC Hammer, and Vanilla Ice. Lindsay specializes in ballet, lyrical, jazz, and preschool/kinder programs.
Miss Alivia - Recreational Instructor
Alivia began dancing at the age of 2 and dancing competitively from the age of 6. Training in many styles such as Ballet in both Cecchetti method as well as a combination of Russian and Vaganova, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary and Acro. In her years of training Alivia received numerous awards with her teams as well as attending the Dancerpalooza Intensive on a scholarship she earned for standout ballet performance. Alivia also received her Certification in Personal Training. Alivia is happy to be sharing her passion for dance again with the dancers at Elevate Dance Company.
Miss Madison - Competition Tap Instructor/ Recreational Instructor
Madison is an accomplished dancer with 18 years of experience in dance. She spent 12 of those years competing at The Dance Shoppe and was a member of their competition team as well as their Select Team. During her time there, she participated and studied in various dance styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, contemporary, lyrical, pointe, and musical theater. Currently, Madison is pursuing a major in General Management, and minoring in Dance at Oakland University. She is not only a member but also the Captain of the Oakland University Dance Team, where she competes at the Collegiate level and performs at College sporting events. Madison is very grateful to be teaching competitive tap and hip hop, recreational classes and other dance technique classes with an amazing group of dancers at Elevate Dance Company.
Logan Shaver - Recreational Teacher
“My name is Logan Shaver. I have danced since I was 5 years old and started dancing competitively since I was 10. I have danced with Elevate Dance Co for over 3 years on the Senior Level Dance Company! My favorite style of dance is Tap, lyrical and Ballet, but I love all types of dance. I began assisting in dance classes with my mom when she was a dance teacher and currently assist at EDC as well. I started teaching this year at Elevate and I love working with the “littles” as I call like to call them. I am teaching Ballet/Lyrical and Tap. When I am not studio dancing, I am dancing at Oxford High School in their Dance Conservatory Program, and the OHS Varsity Dance Team. I am a junior at OHS and plan to go to Cosmetology school to studio hair and esthetics. I am also a barista at Biggby Coffee in Metamora, MI. I have three dogs, and two cats and three siblings.”
